It will be a day I never forget, drawing from the drawings behind the Fishguard Tapestry. A huge honour to be joined by Jonathan Cramp who spoke about his late wife's work. What a remarkable woman she was. We were fortunate to see a few of Elizabeth's sketchbooks, a rare insight into the thought processes and studies she made throughout her life which allowed her to create the tapestry we see today in the Fishguard Library. Elizabeth Cramp's illustrations have joy, movment, she sculpts the forms on the page with ease. Her work is inspirational, and it is a wonderful opportunity to include the art behind the tapestry in the Coast Lines proejct.
A very big thank you to Myles, Vicky, David and Harry Pepper at the West Wales Art Centre.
