What a warm welcome to this beautiful, quirky little pub in Lower Town, Fishguard. In many ways it was a shame it was so sunny outside - but once we were inside, pencils and sketchbooks in hand and drinks on the table, we were spoilt for choice with things to draw. From historic artefacts, old photographs, musical instruments, model ships, to drinks, glasses, stools and even dogs! - A wonderful Sunday afternoon. Sketch Crawl, Glendower, Goodwick

A wonderful Sunday afternoon sketching in the Glendower. Brilliant to be joined by some new faces. The Glendower is one of the most inspirational pubs to draw in, as displayed above the bar are beautiful sketches of the local drinkers by the late local artist Maxwell Jones. Full of regulars, roast potatoes and yorkshire puddings on the bar, the afternoon went by too quickly. Fond memories captured in our sketches. #SketchCrawl

    The Globe, Sketch Crawl

First Sketch Crawl, part of Fishguard and Goodwick's Autumn Festival and the Big Draw festival. An entertaining afternoon practising various drawing exercises in good company. Drawing without looking at the page....- a favoured form of drawing by me personally! Drawing from memory.... Drawing with your other hand.... Drawing without taking your pen off the page... Drawing each other.... Shared drawings.... Brilliant results!! #SketchCrawl
